The people who are beneficiaries of the Social Security payments, they can expect to receive several payments in the final months of 2024, with an additional one for some in the month of November. These checks are issued to people depending on the date they were born. Those people who were born between the 1st and 10th of any month receive the payment of benefit the second Wednesday of the month. Those who were born between the 11th and the 20th receive the payment of the Social Security the third Wednesday of the month. People born after the 20th get their check or deposit on the fourth Wednesday, there are exceptions, which include children and spouses who receive benefits depending on the work history of the recipient direct, who receive the payment on the same day that the main recipient. 

If someone made the request for the benefits before May 1, 1997; their benefits in Medicare are paid for by the state you live in; receive a payment of Social Security income; or live outside the United States, you may also receive your payments on the 3rd of each month. People who receive payments SSI Due to some disability, age or blindness, they should expect to receive them on the first day of the month. When payments fall on a federal holiday or weekend, they will be issued on the immediately preceding weekday.

The web portal My Social Security is your one-stop shop for everything you need to know about your benefits, if you want to make adjustments or if you want to obtain documents related to your taxes and other important information. To see your benefits, sign up for an account at https://login.gov/. To see all your benefits, you must register for an account in My Social Security. Please note that if you have already registered at login.gov or ID.me, you can skip the next steps and simply log in to your account. 

  • November: Payments will be made on November 13, 20 and 27, and Supplemental Security Income will be received on the 1st and 29th. The additional payment is due to the fact that this year December 1st falls on a Sunday.
  • December: Payments will be made on December 11, 18 and 24, and Supplemental Security Income will arrive on the 31st. January 1 would be a holiday: New Year’s Day.

If You’ve Never Signed up For Any of These Services Before, Here’s How to Sign Up

  • Open the tab, create an account and enter your email and preferred language and then click submit.
  • On the next screen, you will be asked to verify your email address. You can also request that the verification email be sent to you again or change your email address. 
  • Check your email and look for the Confirm your login.gov email button. Click the Confirm Email Address button to return to the website. 
  • Now create a password for your account. The password must be a minimum of 12 characters. 
  • Set up two-factor authentication. You can use an authenticator app, a text message or phone call, backup codes, a physical security key, or a government employee ID. Follow the steps to configure the authentication method you chose and click continue. 

Since your account has been created, https://login.gov/, you can use it to log in to the portal My Social Security.
