Changes are coming for those who are residents of the state of Pennsylvania who are already part of or may be eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). On Monday, Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Secretary Dr. Val Arkoosh made an announcement regarding increases in income limits and benefits of the food stamps program.

Replacement of Benefits Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Stolen
Besides of increases in income and benefit limits in SNAP, Arkoosh also announced that the replacement of benefits SNAP stolen benefits (which DHS began offering in 2023) has been extended to stolen benefits through December 20, 2024.
The beneficiaries of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to those who have had their electronically stolen benefits Until December 20, 2024, you can request a refund of your benefits.
