In 2024, the PFD plus an energy supplement totaled $1,702 per person. This figure applies to payments distributed during 2025. It covers the 2024 program fiscal year.
The main component is the regular dividend, set at $1,403.83. This value was determined using the program’s standard formula. The calculation considers the fund’s performance over several years.
An energy assistance supplement of $298.17 completed the total. This addition was intended to alleviate high heating and electricity costs. The combined amount was announced in September 2024. The amount for 2025 is expected to be similar, yet the final amount is not confirmed.
Eligibility requirements to claim the stimulus payment
Receiving payment requires meeting strict residency requirements. Applicants must have lived in Alaska throughout 2024. They must express their intent to permanently reside in the state.
Absences from the territory cannot exceed 180 days in 2024. Justified exceptions for education, military service, or emergencies are permitted. These exceptions require valid documentation. Physical presence in Alaska is mandatory, consistent with the previous payment. It must include at least 72 consecutive hours within the last 24 months. This requirement verifies a continuous relationship with the state.
Convictions for felonies or multiple misdemeanors in 2024 are disqualifying. Obtaining official benefits in another state also voids eligibility. This includes licenses or IDs issued outside of Alaska.
The PFD payment schedule: tentative dates for 2025
Payments are distributed in several waves based on confirmed eligibility. The first wave occurred on May 15, 2025. It covered applications marked “Eligible – Not Paid” through May 7.
The next distribution is scheduled for June 18, 2025. It will include applications in the “Eligible – Not Paid” status through June 11. This deadline is crucial for accessing the June payment.
