AMF Bowling Centers agreed to pay up to $3.18 million to settle the claims of the class action related with the lack of disclosure of salary scales and benefits in job offers in Washington. The agreement benefits individuals who applied for employment at AMF Bowlero, Lucky Strike Lanes, Bowlero Broadway Seattle LLC, Bowlero South Seattle, Paradise Lanes, Bowlero Sports and Entertainment Holdings, Bowlero Lynnwood or Bowlero Lanes of Lakewood in Washington, between January 1, 2023 and July 25, 2024. This agreement covers those cases in which the job offers did not contain the salary scale of the position, the salary range or the description of benefits.

 Those affected may submit claims to receive compensation according to the terms established in the agreement. According to the class action by publication of job offers, AMF Bowling Centers and other related bowling companies violated Washington law by failing to disclose the pay scale or salary range and/or provide a general description of the benefits in job offers for vacant positions. Washington law reportedly requires this information to be included in job postings to promote fair wages and equitable compensation.

AMF has not accepted having committed any irregularity, but has agreed to pay between 1.6 million and 3.18 million dollars to resolve the Class Action related to job posting. Under the terms of the agreement, group members will receive an equal share of the net fund. Each claimant chooses could receive at least $1,384, with a maximum payment of $5,000. This agreement aims to compensate people affected by the lawsuit without AMF acknowledging any liability.

The deadline for exclusion and objection of this Class Action, It is November 11, 2024. The final approval hearing for the agreement is scheduled for December 16, 2024. AMF has not admitted any wrongdoing, but agreed to pay a minimum of $1.6 million and a maximum of $3.18 million to resolve the Class Action by job posting.

What AMF Bowling Centers Proposes to Settle the Class Action

Under the terms of the agreement of Class Action, AMF Bowling Centers, the members of the group may receive an equal share of the net fund of the agreement of Class Action, which ranges from $1.6 million to $3.18 million. Each eligible claimant could receive at least $1,384, with a maximum payment of $5,000. This agreement resolves the Class Action by the job posting and does not imply that AMF has admitted any wrongdoing.

The deadline for exclusion and objection to agreement is November 11, 2024. The settlement’s final approval hearing is scheduled for December 16, 2024. Class members who do not exclude themselves from the Class Action, They will be able to receive their payment according to the established terms, and it is important that those affected submit their claims before the deadline.
