Monthly Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) payments are distributed throughout June according to a set schedule. This program provides support to workers who meet specific medical and employment requirements. Beneficiaries who began receiving SSDI after May 1997 receive their funds based on their date of birth.

Those born between the 1st and 10th of any month will receive their assigned payment on Wednesday, June 11th. This group corresponds to the first distribution wave based on the birthday calendar. The date is fixed for this specific range of birthdates.

SSDI provides benefits to Americans who have met the required work credits and experienced a disabling condition during employment.

Upcoming payments for SSDI beneficiaries

Wednesday, June 18th, is reserved for beneficiaries whose birthday falls between the 11th and 20th. This second date of the month completes the delivery for the initial half of the monthly range of days.

Payment is received based exclusively on the day of the month on which they were born. Finally, those born between the 21st and 31st will receive their SSDI payment on Wednesday, June 25th. This third date covers beneficiaries with birth dates in the latter part of the month.

Other SSDI beneficiaries who applied before May 1997

The above schedule applies only to those who began receiving benefits after May 1997. There are significant exceptions to the schedule based on date of birth. Beneficiaries who began receiving SSDI before May 1997 receive their funds on a single date. This payment was made on Tuesday, June 3, for this specific group.

Additionally, individuals who receive both SSDI and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) also fall into this exception category. Their combined or single SSDI payment was also issued on Tuesday, June 3. SSI follows its own separate payment schedule.

SSI payments are systematically made on the first day of each month. If the first day is a holiday, the payment is advanced to the previous business day. In June 2025, the SSI payment was made on Friday, May 30. This date corresponds to the program’s standard practice.

SSDI benefit amounts in June 2025

The maximum possible SSDI amount in June 2025 is $4,018. This maximum value depends entirely on the beneficiary’s work and tax history. Not all recipients qualify for this maximum payment; it varies based on past wages.

The average SSDI payment is considerably lower than the maximum. By June 2025, it is estimated to be approximately $1,537 per month. This average reflects the situation of most current disability program beneficiaries.
