The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) remains one of the largest financial aid programs in the United States, and in the state of Texas, thousands of families need support to access basic foods. Also, plan your purchases to avoid lines or delays, especially if your deposit date falls on a weekend or days close to holidays, which you should take into account even more in this month when it is the end of the year and the Christmas holidays and New Year are coming, with crowds and product shortages on many occasions.
The USDA recommends waiting up to three business days after your payment date in order to determine whether there’s a problem or not. If your money still won’t arrive, get in touch with your local SNAP management office. Have in hand your EDG number and any other documents that back up your claim.
