The next SSI deposit is scheduled in two weeks

Beneficiaries who receive both SSI and SSDI generally receive their SSI payment on the 1st and SSDI payments based on their date of birth, and may receive combined amounts depending on their eligibility.
Are there double SSI payments in 2025?
A recurring effect on the SSI calendar occurs when the first day of the following month is a non-business day, advancing that payment to the previous month. In May 2025, this generated two deposits: the May payment on May 1 ($967 individual/$1,450 couple/$484 essential), and the June payment on Friday, May 30.
This occurred because June 1 fell on a Sunday. Similar situations will occur in September and November 2025. October 1 is a Wednesday (a business day), but November 1 falls on a Saturday, so the November payment will be issued on Friday, October 31.
Additionally, the December payment will be advanced to Friday, November 28, since December 1 is a Monday. These adjustments may create perceived “non-payment” periods in the affected month, although the total annual amount remains the same. Take into consideration that you will get a “second” deposit on December 31, corresponding to the January 2026 deposit.
What if your SSI payment didn’t arrive on time?
If your scheduled SSI payment does not appear in your bank account or Direct Express card by the expected date, the Social SSA recommends waiting three full business days before contacting them.
