'Vampire' de la cantante estadounidense Olivia Rodrigo simboliza un recorrido por su catarsis sentimental tras sus experiencias con un chico que le usó por su fama.
La joven californiana de 20 años está de vuelta tras un parón de 2 años. El tema forma parte de su segundo trabajo discográfico titulado 'GUTS', cuyo lanzamiento está previsto para septiembre de 2023. La canción se apoya de un piano, como en sus anteriores proyectos, para continuar con una mezcla de guitarras y baterías al más puro rock de los años 70.
La artista escribió la letra durante el invierno de 2022, para desahogar los sentimientos de frustración y resignación. "He cometido grandes errores, pero tú haces que el peor parezca poca cosa" confiesa la cantante. "Pensaba que era lista, pero me has hecho parecer tan tonta" canta en consecuencia a su última relación sentimental Olivia.
El videoclip comienza con la joven cantando tumbada en un bosque rodeada de niebla durante una representación "en directo". Tras un fallo técnico, acaba siendo golpeada por un foco y escapa malherida de escena ante la estupefacta mirada del público y el intento de controlarla por parte de los cuerpos de seguridad del teatro.
